Reduced Pressure Zone Valves

Reduced Pressure Zone Valves prevent industrial waste water backflowing into the mains water supply due to the difference in pressure between the two.

It is important to get regular checks and RPZ valves testing done to make sure you’re following TMV regulations.

When consumers turn their  taps on, they expect “safe drinking water” to be immediately available, pure and plentiful. They assume the water is safe simply because they have not been warned otherwise. Safe drinking water is regulated by the DETR, and as a professional body the water utility is responsible for ensuring overall protection of safe drinking water in all foreseeable circumstances.

However, despite strict regulations, extremely dangerous situations continue to occur when backflow contaminants are inadvertently allowed to enter our safe drinking water supplies. It is a criminal offense to contaminate the water supply.

Thermostatic Mixing Valves

Thermostatic Mixing Valves are designed to blend hot water with cold water to ensure a constant, safe outlet temperature. Controlling water temperature is critical to avoid scalding, thermal shock, and Legionella growth.

It is important to get regular checks and TMV testing done to make sure you’re following TMV regulations.

Dangers of Hot Water

the result of water stored or used at inappropriate temperatures,
leading to the potential for:

• Serious thermal shock and scalding injuries suffered in bathtubs, sinks, and showers
• Illness caused by water-borne bacteria such as Legionella

Using a fully qualified and accredited installer means you will comply with the Water Supply(Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. For more information visit safe water in healthcare premises

Excellent work. Dave turned up on time as did the rest of the tradesmen that Dave had organised. From quotation to completion of work we had total confidence in Dave and his team. Work completed to a very high standard and would use again without hesitation. Would highly recommend Dave.

We have been using Dave now for a number of years and, once again, his workmanship and reliability were faultless in the projects he undertook for us. He is a super chap, he did exactly what we wanted and therefore the maximum scores, across all aspects, are genuinely well deserved.
